About Your Credit Union

Kennewick Community Federal credit Union is a federally chartered credit union that was organized in 1969. The field of membership in the beginning was employees of IBEW Local 112 and their families.

In early 1983, the charter was changed to include any person living or working in Kennewick, Washington or anyone related to someone who lives or works in Kennewick, WA. To open an account, complete a membership card and make a minimum deposit of $5.00, which is the value of one share in the credit union. Dividends are computed on a DAILY basis and paid MONTHLY on each share.

Only accounts with $50 or more will receive dividends. As long as you maintain an active savings account, even if you change jobs, move away or retire, your membership continues with all its benefits.
